President Donald Trump plans to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence with a UFC fight at the White House next year.

Trump Live : President Donald Trump plans to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence with a UFC fight at the White House next year.

In Des Moines, Iowa, hours before the Fourth of July, just hours after his controversial “big, beautiful bill” finally passed the House of Representatives, the president told his audience: “We’re going to have a UFC fight on the White House grounds. We have a lot of land there.”

After lengthy negotiations with Republicans and a record-breaking speech by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries that lasted nearly nine hours, Trump delivered a “Goodbye America” speech after his signature tax and spending bill passed its final hurdle.

The bill, which aims to cut welfare and increase funding for defense and border security, has divided the GOP, though the party ultimately came together on a 218-214 vote, with only two representatives breaking ranks and joining Democrats.

Trump is now expected to sign the bill into law in the Oval Office at 4 p.m. ET on Friday, Independence Day, despite the risk of disruption from planned “Free America” protests in cities across the country.
